Hello!
A little bit about me, my name is Nikita and I am a first-year Biomedical Science student at Kings College London. I am really excited to start my tutoring journey and help you achieve your academic goals. I would be very happy if I can be a small part of it and help you understand concepts that you struggle with so that your basic knowledge is strong in order for you to do well later in your academic life!!
I chose Biomedical Science because I always wanted to work in immunology and help be a part of the large number of scientists working on treating diseases. Surprisingly enough I had this thought in year 9!
Now moving onto my lesson structure, I like to start with a little quiz about the previous lessons/ knowledge that the student has to know the level at which the student is and then according to that set some lesson objectives so the student is aware of the expectations from the tutoring lessons. Following this I like to teach my content in a visualized way which makes it easier for the student to remember and put quizzes midst the lesson to keep the student's brains engaged. Furthermore, I do believe in giving every student a try on a type of extension task such that it makes the student think beyond. This helps the student exposure to different career choices.
Thank you for taking the time to read this brief and I hope I answered all questions that you might have for me as your student's tutor.
