What to Expect in Our Lessons

My lessons are dynamic, engaging, and structured around your child's unique pace. Having worked as a University Teaching Assistant in both Egypt and the UK, and with a year of experience tutoring younger children across various subjects, I know exactly how to break down complex ideas into manageable, bite-sized steps.

Because of my background—a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering from the American University in Cairo and a Master’s in Architectural Visualisation from the UK—I naturally bring a visual and highly practical approach to math. I don't just ask students to memorize formulas; I use visual tools, real-world examples, and interactive problem-solving to show them how math actually works.

For my older students, we dive deeply into the official GCSE Curriculum, focusing heavily on high-weight areas like algebra, geometry, and ratio and proportion. I structure our sessions around the specific requirements of major UK Edexcel exam boards. We break down the complex wording of multi-step exam questions and master target test techniques so students can confidently aim for top marks.

Each session is divided into three core parts:

The Warm-up: We review previous topics to solidify learning and celebrate small wins.

The Core Concept: We tackle the day's new material using interactive, visual explanations.

Confident Practice: We work through problems together until the student feels ready to try them independently.

Above all, I maintain a patient, encouraging environment where mistakes are welcomed as a natural part of learning. My ultimate goal is not just to teach the curriculum, but to build the unwavering confidence your child needs to truly excel.
