I have experience tutoring English using Cantonese on a one to one basis. I have
taught primary school pupils conversational English and secondary school pupils in a more exam-oriented approach. Last month, in the CELTA course, I taught in a class size up to 15 people
coming from multicultural background (Ukraine, Brazil, Sudan, Dagestan, etc). These experiences (in HK and the UK) has equipped me with great communication skills and knowledge about different approaches to teaching English.

My teaching is grounded in student-centered learning and interactive discussions, designed to empower learners to take an active role in their education. Whether working with young primary students or adults learning English as an additional language, I strive to create a supportive, relaxed, and welcoming environment where learners feel comfortable taking risks and expressing themselves.

For primary learners, I focus on engagement through curiosity and play, integrating stories, questions, and activities that allow students to discover meaning and build confidence in their abilities. For adult learners, I emphasize practical communication and cultural relevance, encouraging them to connect new language skills with their everyday lives.
