About Me:
I’m a passionate and experienced Biology and Science teacher with over 30 years of classroom experience, specialising in KS3 Science, GCSE, IGCSE, and A Level Biology.
For me, teaching is about more than sharing knowledge, it’s about inspiring curiosity and confidence. I’m enthusiastic about my subject and love helping students develop that same curiosity, asking questions that deepen their understanding and enjoyment of learning.
My friendly and professional approach helps students make excellent progress and achieve exam success. Whether you need support with challenging topics, focused exam preparation, or simply want to build confidence in Biology, I’m here to help you reach your goals.

Teaching Experience:
With over three decades of experience, I’ve taught across all major exam boards and specifications. I’ve served as both Head of Biology and Head of Science, and worked as a GCSE and A Level examiner, so I know exactly what examiners look for.
I’ve successfully tutored many students both in person and online, helping them strengthen their understanding, improve grades, and, in many cases, go on to study Science at university.

Approach to Tutoring:
Having taught in schools across England, East Africa, and the UAE, I bring a global perspective and adaptable teaching style to every lesson. My approach is supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, including those with SEN requirements.
I use a range of effective techniques, including interactive quizzing, flipped learning, revision strategies, and plenty of past paper practice, to build confidence and ensure real understanding.
My goal is simple: to help students not only succeed in Science, but to genuinely enjoy it.
