My sessions are structured around the student's immediate needs — whether that means working through past papers, tackling a specific topic that isn't clicking, or building from the ground up on a concept that was never fully explained at school.

For A-Level Maths, I focus heavily on exam technique alongside content understanding. Many students know the material but lose marks through poor method presentation or misreading questions under pressure — so we work on both simultaneously. I use past papers from the relevant exam board throughout, not just as mock tests but as teaching tools to identify recurring patterns and common pitfalls.

Sessions are typically an hour, conducted online via video call with shared screen or digital whiteboard depending on what we're working on. I find this format often works better than in-person for Maths — students can work through problems at their own pace while I observe in real time and intervene the moment something goes wrong rather than waiting until the end.

I am an LSE MSc graduate currently completing the CFA and FMVA qualifications, and I have tutored students from pre-GCSE through to A-Level across Maths, Economics, and Biology. One of my A-Level Maths students progressed from a D grade to an A, securing entry to a Russell Group university — a result I'm particularly proud of because it came through consistent work on both confidence and technique rather than any shortcut.

I keep communication with parents regular and transparent — brief updates after sessions on what we covered and what to focus on before the next one. I'm punctual, well-prepared for every session, and committed to making each hour as productive as possible.
