Nenglong Yang

Hello! My name is Nenglong Yang, and I am currently a Research Fellow in Composites for Space Structures at Cranfield University. I completed my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manchester and have a strong academic background in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering.

I provide personalised online tutoring for GCSE Maths, GCSE Physics, A-Level Maths, Further Maths, and A-Level Physics. My lessons are designed around each student’s individual level, learning style, and academic goals. Whether you are preparing for exams, aiming for top grades, or trying to improve confidence in difficult topics, I will adapt the lessons to suit your needs.

My teaching focuses on building strong core understanding, logical problem-solving skills, and effective exam techniques. During lessons, I explain concepts clearly using step-by-step methods, worked examples, and practice questions. I also help students with homework, revision planning, and past paper practice.

Alongside private tutoring, I have experience teaching at university level as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where I delivered tutorials and laboratory sessions while supporting students with analytical thinking and conceptual understanding.

I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in Maths and Physics. Lessons are available online via Zoom and can be tailored for both long-term improvement and short-term exam preparation.
