My saxophone lessons are a fun and informative mixture of tone exercises, technical work, repertoire, improvisation, sight-reading, music theory and ear training, depending on the needs and interests of the student. As a saxophone specialist I can readily identify common problems and difficulties students have and rapidly improve their level of playing. It is a delight to see students quickly progressing and learning how to navigate the process of learning and honing an instrument. Whatever the level, from beginner to professional, I can offer insights and advice that will help students take their playing to the next level. I often will accompany pupils at the piano, provide recordings or backing tracks to help facilitate progression. I like to keep students up to date with lesson notes and will send these after the lesson.
