Hi! I’m a final year medical student at the University of Manchester with a passion for Biology and helping students achieve their academic goals. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, whether they’re aiming to improve confidence, catch up on difficult topics, or achieve top grades.

I teach GCSE and A-Level Biology, breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. My lessons are interactive and engaging, encouraging students to ask questions and develop a genuine understanding of the subject rather than relying on memorisation alone.

A typical lesson begins by reviewing previous learning and identifying any areas of difficulty. We then work through new content using clear explanations, diagrams, and real-life examples, before reinforcing understanding with exam-style questions and active recall techniques. I also focus on exam technique, helping students interpret questions, structure answers effectively, and avoid common mistakes.

As a medical student, I use Biology every day in my studies and clinical placements, allowing me to explain not only the theory but also how it applies in real medical practice. This helps make lessons more engaging and gives students a deeper appreciation of the subject.

I am patient, approachable, and supportive, creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without fear of getting things wrong. My aim is to build both knowledge and confidence so that students can perform at their best in exams.
