With over 10 years of experience as a primary school teacher, I’ve supported children across all year groups—from Early Years to Year 6. My lessons are designed to be calm, structured, and enjoyable, helping each child feel confident and ready to learn.
Every session is tailored to the individual needs of the child. I begin by identifying areas of strength and where support is needed. From there, I build a personalised learning plan that supports progress at the right pace. Whether we’re focusing on phonics, developing reading fluency, boosting confidence in maths, or preparing for SATs or 11+ exams, my lessons are clear, engaging, and fully aligned with the national curriculum.
A typical lesson includes a short review of previous learning, an introduction to the new concept, guided practice, and plenty of opportunity for independent work—with feedback and encouragement along the way. I use visual aids, games, and practical examples to make learning meaningful and memorable.
I also have extensive experience supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and speech and language difficulties. My patient and understanding approach helps all children feel safe, supported, and motivated to succeed.
Above all, my goal is to create a positive learning experience—one where your child feels proud of their progress, curious to learn more, and confident in their abilities. I believe that with the right support and encouragement, every child can thrive and develop a genuine love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
