I'm a third-year Medical Student with a strong passion for Biology and teaching. I have a solid experience in academics and teaching. I secured all A* grades in my GCSEs, and scored a 6 in IB Biology. I am more familiar with the structure of the exams and techniques needed to excel, having completed my high school just recently. In addition, I’ve participated in biology competitions and earned first place at a STEM exhibition, as well as secured a bronze position in the Biology Olympiad. I also completed my Extended Essay in Biology so I’m well-versed in research and academic writing. Having already taught GCSE Biology to students, I know how to break down complex topics into manageable and understandable subtopics. Whether it’s understanding tricky concepts, preparing for exams, or working on biology-related projects, I’m here to help you excel in your studies. I aim to make learning biology enjoyable and stress-free, while ensuring you gain the knowledge and skills needed to do well in your exams and beyond. I believe learning should be fun and interactive, so I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand parts. I use real-world examples from my experience as a medical student to connect abstract concepts to things we see and experience every day. My teaching will be in the form of lectures, including use of visual elements such as diagrams, as well as interactive-style sessions to ensure the student understands concepts well. I also believe in regular review and practice to build confidence.
