A lesson typically lasts for an hour and starts with a refresh starter from the previous lesson (through quick recall questions or discussions). I then introduce the specification points for the content to be covered in the lesson which is followed as a checklist throughout; alternatively, the student can ask for a topic to be covered. We would talk through the new knowledge together with important points for the final exam emphasised. The last 10 minutes of the lesson consist of past paper questions where exam technique is also covered. I have tutored maths for over three years with successful outcomes and have an A Level and GCSE in the subject. These lessons would be for GCSE Maths students looking to improve their knowledge and exam skills.
