I tailor my lessons to each individual student and their singing goals, whether it's working on building confidence, improving vocal technique, preparing for performances or auditions, or simply learning to enjoy singing more freely.

The voice is a very unique instrument, it’s the only one we cannot see, which can make it feel deeply personal and vulnerable, especially for beginners. Building trust and confidence is therefore a key part of my teaching approach. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting with their voice without fear of judgement. Singing is incredibly fun and rewarding, and I aim to create an atmosphere that encourages students to believe that.

My lessons typically include a mixture of vocal warm-ups, breath work, technical exercises, and workshopping songs chosen by the student, applying technique directly to the music they enjoy singing. I believe technique should support expression rather than restrict it, and I am passionate about helping singers develop healthy habits while sounding authentic and emotionally connected to the music.

I began performing in pre-school and school productions, progressed to local performances, and am now a professional vocalist currently performing live across Scotland. I bring practical performance experience, as well as elements of stagecraft, into my teaching, which I found invaluable in my own development as a singer.

I welcome singers of all levels and musical backgrounds, including complete beginners. My goal is always to help students feel more confident, expressive and comfortable in their own voice, and to see the fun and beauty of singing, after all that's the most important element!
