Natalia Camporro

Hi! I'm Natalia, a Spanish 22-year-old currently living in Balham. I have recently graduated from a BA in English in Spain (minoring in Translation). Since I am free at the weekends I would like to earn some extra money while doing what I love the most: helping students to improve their English! I am a really patient person, always willing to answer even the most “absurd” doubt, but I do not like wasting the client’s time, so I like to offer multiple activities during the lesson. Needless to say, I try to encourage the student's motivation through interesting content, making sure that there is always time for some fun.

Age is not important: I have experience in teaching adults (they like games as well!) and kids, adapting to their needs and creating material accordingly (quizzes, exercises, activities, songs, videos...). What tends to be key to improving fast and efficiently is a lot of practice, so I also like sending tasks and take the time to prepare the following lessons based on the mistakes that the student has made. However, I am flexible as which dynamics to follow and would like to adopt the one that works best for the student.

Although I have never really had the opportunity to teach other languages than English, I own a native competence in Spanish so I would also consider tutoring the language! Please, contact me if you think that I would suit your needs so we can discuss further the dynamics on the lessons.
