As a dedicated Chemistry graduate and current medical student, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my tutoring sessions. With experience tutoring science and mathematics up to GCSE level. I have a comprehensive understanding of the subjects and the curriculum. My teaching style is student-focused, focusing on making complex concepts accessible and engaging. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and express difficulties. In my lessons, I use a variety of teaching methods tailored to each student’s learning style. I incorporate visual aids, practical examples, and problem-solving exercises to deepen understanding and retention. Regular assessments and feedback help track progress and identify areas needing further attention. I also emphasise the development of critical thinking and analytical skills, which are essential for academic success and beyond. My sessions are structured yet flexible, allowing for thorough coverage of topics while adapting to the pace and needs of the student. I believe in fostering a growth mindset and helping students build resilience and confidence in their abilities. Whether preparing for exams or seeking to improve understanding, my goal is to empower students to achieve their full potential. With a background as a summer school counsellor and in swimming coaching, I have extensive experience working with students and helping them achieve their goals in a supportive, stress-free environment. Every student is different and I believe my patient approach is successful when it comes to adapting lessons to the individual needs of the student.
