I have submitted my PhD in music psychology at Durham University, and hold a Master’s degree in Cognitive Brain Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
My academic background enables me to teach cognitive, behavioural, and biological psychology, as well as social psychology through my doctoral research. I have strong expertise in research methods and experimental design, including advanced statistical analysis using R, Python, SPSS, and JASP. I have taught experimental techniques and research methods at Durham University and can support students with both theoretical content and applied coursework, including exam preparation. I can also help students understand using psychophysiological techniques and neuroscience methods such as Electroencephalography and Eye Tracking.
I have teaching experience at both university and school levels. At Durham University, I have taught undergraduate students, supporting work in research design, academic writing, and data analysis. I have also taught in school settings, delivering lessons in psychology and music, and working with students at different levels.
My classes are friendly in nature, and I use a student-centred approach where I hear students and encourage discussion.
