Nanami Ohashi

I am a friendly and patient native Japanese speaker currently studying in the UK. I have experience teaching English in Japan, which has helped me develop clear and easy-to-understand teaching skills. I can help with everyday conversation, pronunciation, reading and writing, and beginner Japanese. My lessons are suitable for complete beginners, people interested in Japanese culture or anime, and anyone who simply wants to learn Japanese in a relaxed and enjoyable way. I can also introduce Japanese culture through activities such as origami.

Since I attended an international school, I am comfortable communicating in English in everyday situations. This means I can explain Japanese in English when necessary, which I believe is especially helpful for students who are just starting to learn Japanese. I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel difficult or intimidating, so I want to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions and learn at their own pace.

I believe that the best way to learn a language is to actually use it. Therefore, I would like to make my lessons interactive and focused on communication rather than simply memorizing grammar. Depending on each student's goals and interests, we can practice conversations, learn useful expressions for traveling in Japan, work on pronunciation, or talk about Japanese culture, food, anime, and everyday life. I am also happy to adjust the difficulty and topics of each lesson to suit the student's level and interests.
