My name is Nahla Ibrahim; an Egyptian teacher of English who knows how to keep the balance between maintaining a lively and interactive class and delivering the ILOs without exceeding the assigned time for the session. I have been teaching English to students of different ages and from different cultural backgrounds for over fourteen years.
However, it was not before 2012 that I started teaching English to university students; a journey that is ongoing till the time of writing this letter. Hence, I joined MSA University, and there I taught English 80 (foundation course), English 101 (academic writing course). I also offered extra support for the students who wanted to improve their writing by offering 1:1 sessions in the Writing Center. In addition, I worked at the BUE from 2014 till 2020, and there I taught Pre-intermediate, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate IELTS English as well as EAP (English for Academic Purposes) and EAW (English for Academic Writing). Meanwhile, I achieved my MA in Comparative Literature in 2017.
