My tutoring style is friendly, supportive, and focused on helping you feel confident with the subject. All lessons are online and usually last between one and two hours, depending on what you need and what we’re covering.
In our sessions, we’ll break down difficult topics into simple, understandable steps. I’ll prepare clear notes to help with revision, and we’ll work through classified past paper questions together so you become familiar with exam-style questions and how to approach them. I’ll also give you homework to make sure the material stays fresh, and you keep practising between lessons.
We’ll set realistic goals together and create revision and study plans that work for you, so that exam preparation feels organised instead of overwhelming. My lessons are always a relaxed and supportive space, where you can ask questions freely and we can go over anything you’re unsure about until it makes complete sense. I also adapt lessons to different learning styles, using interactive whiteboards, digital flashcards, and other helpful tools to make learning more engaging and enjoyable.
I completed A-Level Biology with an A* and GCSE Biology with an A*, and I also completed a foundation year in the triple sciences with an A. I’m currently a third-year medical student, using biology every day, and I’m passionate about helping students preparing for GCSE or A-Level Biology to strengthen their understanding, improve their confidence, and achieve their target grades. Outside of medicine, I enjoy supporting peers and younger students, making science fun and fully accessible.
