My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by understanding a child’s current level, strengths, and areas for development, then create a personalised plan to support steady progress. Each session follows a clear format: a quick recap of previous learning, introduction of new concepts in small, manageable steps, guided practice, and independent activities to build confidence.

I use a mix of interactive methods, including games, visual aids, and real-life examples, to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. For English, this may include reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, and spelling strategies. In Maths, I focus on building strong number skills, problem-solving techniques, and clear understanding of key concepts.

I maintain a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Regular feedback is provided to both students and parents, ensuring progress is clear and goals are continually adjusted.

With experience supporting primary-aged learners, I understand how to keep children motivated while also maintaining focus and structure. My aim is not only to improve academic results but also to build confidence, independence, and a genuine enjoyment of learning that lasts beyond each lesson.
