Nadia Comiskey

I’m Nadia, a private English Literature and Language tutor based in Manchester. I’ve been tutoring for 7 years now with 100s of hours of experience. I have helped students with their GCSEs and A Levels as well as Adult Learners, gaining experience in a variety of texts for AQA, IGCSE and Edexcel (Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, An Inspector Calls, Jekyll and Hyde, Great Expectations etc and Poetry both Love and Relationships and Power and Conflict as well as Edexcel Poetry) to a high level, helping student achieve their goals through content analysis, essay improvement, Language techniques as well as language understanding and building confidence so they’re ready for their exams! My lessons are fun and engaging, helping students learnt through resources as well as discussion and feedback.

I also tutor English as a foreign language and am fully TEFL qualified. I have experience teaching both children and adults in a fun interactive environment in person and online. I have experience teaching children for many years and have worked with adults sitting their exams at many levels.

I provide fun and informative lessons to a range of ages and skill levels helping you gain confidence and achieve your goals! I am a friendly and patient person, taking time with students to understand areas they would like to focus on and improve. I have taught children with additional needs as well as adults.
