I’m a third-year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Cardiff University, where I hold a full 100% Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship awarded to only five students across my entire year group. Maths has been at the centre of my studies for years, and I genuinely enjoy helping others see that it isn’t as intimidating as it first appears. I offer maths tutoring for GCSE and A-level students who want to build a stronger foundation. Whatever your current level, my goal is the same: to help you understand the why behind the maths, not just memorise steps for an exam.
My lessons are structured but flexible. I usually begin by understanding exactly where a student feels stuck, then break difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps with plenty of worked examples. From there, we practise together until the method feels natural, and I set targeted questions so you can keep improving between sessions. I check understanding regularly and adjust my pace to suit each individual, because no two students learn in the same way.
One thing I bring that many tutors can’t is real-world context. As an engineering student who recently completed a year-long industrial placement at Caterpillar working on engine electronics, I can show how the maths you’re learning actually gets used in the real world. This makes lessons more engaging and helps concepts stick.
Above all, I’m patient, reliable and genuinely invested in seeing my students gain confidence. I’d love to help you reach your goals.
