About me

I am a very child-centred teacher. Throughout my teaching placements and work experience so far, I have worked with a large variety of children with varying degrees of need and also had training on SEND-specific strategies. On a 1:1 level, I am able to adapt content in order to interest, engage and be easily understandable.
I have experience working with children with - autism, ADHD, PDA, SEMH,...

I have experience working with children with - autism, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, school refusal, Cerebral Palsy, sight impaiments, as well as within mainstream classrooms.

I particularly enjoy creating lessons that incorporate children's interests and letting the child lead the direction of a lesson. This can lead to an enthusiasm for learning and a much deeper mastery of the learning!
