am an English and English Literature teacher with 9 years of teaching experience, committed to making learning meaningful, engaging, and accessible to every student. Over the years, I have developed a teaching approach that combines strong subject knowledge, student participation, practical examples, and structured lesson planning.

My teaching philosophy is simple: students learn better when they understand, participate, question, and connect what they learn with real life. I therefore try to create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas and developing confidence in English.

My Teaching Methods

I use a combination of traditional and modern teaching strategies depending on the topic, class level, and learning needs of students. My lessons generally include:

* Well-structured lesson planning with clear learning objectives and expected outcomes.
* Interactive teaching, where students are encouraged to participate rather than simply listen.
* Question-and-answer techniques to check understanding and stimulate thinking.
* Discussion and interpretation, particularly while teaching English Literature.
* Real-life examples to make difficult concepts easier to understand.
* Reading aloud and guided reading to improve pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
* Line-by-line explanation of difficult literary texts when required.
* Grammar through practical examples, rather than relying only on memorisation.
* Recapitulation and formative assessment at the end of lessons to assess what students have understood.
* Differentiated support for students with different levels of learning abilities.

My Goal as a Teacher

After nine years in the classroom, my aim goes beyond teaching. I want my students to become confident readers, thoughtful learners, effective communicators, and independent thinkers and educators.
