My psychology lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and adapted to each student’s learning style and academic level. I begin by identifying the student’s current understanding and the specific areas they find challenging. Based on this, I create focused lessons that break down complex psychological concepts into simple, understandable explanations.

Lessons usually combine explanation, discussion, and practical examples so students can connect theory with real-life situations. I also use exam-style questions, case studies, and short quizzes to help students practise applying psychological concepts, especially for topics such as research methods, health psychology, and core psychological theories.

Because of my academic background in psychology and my MSc in Health Psychology, I emphasise critical thinking and evidence-based understanding rather than memorisation alone. I also guide students on how to structure answers, analyse studies, and understand key research methods, which are essential for psychology exams and assignments.

My experience working as an ABA therapist and as a SEND Teaching Assistant has also helped me develop patience and flexible teaching strategies. I am comfortable adapting lessons for different learning needs and ensuring students feel confident asking questions. The goal of my lessons is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them genuinely understand psychology.
