My online lessons are fun, friendly, and made just for you. I know learning online can feel strange at first, but I make every lesson feel like we are in the same room, with lots of talking, games, and encouragement.
We start with a quick warm-up - a quiz, a counting game, or a short story - to get your brain ready. Then we move to our main learning. For Maths, we use colourful slides, drawings, and real-life examples like shopping, cooking, or football scores to make numbers easy. For English, we read stories, practise phonics, build new words, and write fun sentences. For Science, we do simple experiments you can try at home and talk about how the world works.
I use Zoom with an interactive whiteboard, so you can draw, write, and answer questions with me, not just listen. You will never just sit and watch. We play games, solve puzzles, and celebrate every small win together. If something feels hard, we slow down, try a different way, and keep going until you say, 'Oh, I get it now!'
As a former Chemistry Lecturer and MSc student, I know how to explain things in a simple, patient and encouraging way. I follow the UK National Curriculum and help with homework and SATs practice too.
At the end of each lesson, we do a quick recap and a fun challenge, and I tell your parents how you did and what to practise next time. My goal is to help you feel very confident, happy, and proud of your learning.
