My lessons use a special questioning method to help students learn legal skills. Instead of just listening to lectures, each class encourages discussion to uncover important legal ideas and any unclear points.

In a typical 90-minute class, we start with a brief explanation of the main legal concepts. Next, I share a case, either real or made-up, and through a series of questions, students explore the legal issues, present different viewpoints, and defend their arguments against my challenges. This goes beyond simple Q&A; it’s a focused discussion aimed at discovering how deep students' understanding really is.

After that, students engage in a short activity where they might draft a document or give advice. We then discuss each approach together, using the same questioning technique. I actively involve students, encourage them to think critically, and help them understand important legal precedents and choices.

Based on my experience coaching teams, I tailor my questions to each student's knowledge level, making sure our discussions help them gain confidence and a solid understanding of legal principles. By the end, students don’t just memorize rules; they learn to think like lawyers—asking questions, adapting, and making arguments even under pressure. This approach, rooted in traditional legal teaching and modern learning techniques, has been especially effective for complex legal topics where rules connect with new challenges.
