What My Lessons Are Like
My lessons are designed to make law feel simple, structured and much less overwhelming. I don’t believe in simply reading through textbooks or asking students to memorise endless cases. My focus is on helping you genuinely understand the law and feel confident using it.
A typical lesson would include:
1. Understanding the topic We’ll start by breaking the topic down into simple, clear concepts and building your understanding from the basics.
2. Cases & legal principles I’ll explain important cases, legislation and principles in a way that makes them easier to remember and apply.
3. My exam-focused notes You’ll get clear, structured revision material, case summaries and key points that you can actually use when preparing for exams.
4. Applying the law We’ll work through problem questions, essay questions or past-paper style questions so you learn how to apply what you know.
5. Answer structure & exam technique I’ll help you understand exactly how to structure legal answers, use authorities effectively and turn your knowledge into marks.
6. Questions & personalised support Every student learns differently, so I’ll adapt my teaching to your pace, your strengths and the areas you find difficult.
Most importantly, my lessons are a judgement-free space. You can ask the same question five times if you need to—I’m here to make sure you actually understand it.
My goal is simple: less memorising, more understanding, better answers and much more confidence.
