Mrs. Tolu Olarubofin

With over 15 years of teaching experience across early years, primary and secondary classes; my lessons are designed to be interactive, structured and student-centered. I believe every learner can succeed when guided with patience, creativity and the right teaching approach.

Each lesson begins with a short warm-up activity to prepare the mind and spark interest. I follow a clear introduction to the topic, guided practice where we work through examples together, independent tasks to build confidence and a brief reflection session to check understanding. My lessons combine discussion, visuals, practical examples, educational games and real-life applications to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.

I teach core skills such as literacy, numeracy, comprehension, writing techniques and critical thinking, tailoring the content to each learner’s age, level and learning style. For older learners, I also focus on exam preparation, study habits, effective revision methods and problem-solving strategies. Whether a learner learns best by seeing, listening or doing, I adjust my methods to support them.

My classroom environment, whether physical or online is warm, friendly and encouraging. I believe in positive reinforcement, respectful communication and building a learner’s confidence through steady progress. I also incorporate modern tools and technology to enhance understanding and make lessons more engaging.

With my background, including online teaching during the COVID era and experience across different school systems, I bring depth, flexibility and passion to every session. My goal is simply to help each learner grow, achieve and enjoy the learning process.
