I trained in primary school education because it's a joy to encourage children to learn. Lessons should be exciting and rewarding for everyone involved. I like to thoughtfully create lesson plans with the aim of motivating children, capturing their attention to make the experience worthwhile. Time is too precious to be bored or disinterested. During each stage of the lesson together, I assess and review progress to ensure further development in the areas in which each child most needs support.
English was my favourite subject at school and I have a passion to help others enjoy it too. Our effective use of language is vital for communication and daily life. It is essential for work. It can also be a treasured gateway to so much more: such as interesting information, fascinating stories, emotional drama, thought-provoking poetry or magical fantasy. It's benefits can be limitless to those who have learned the skills , and focussed their attention or opened their imagination.
