With 18 years of experience teaching English in a variety of schools, I have developed a strong ability to connect with students and build a positive, supportive learning environment. My focus is on helping students excel in their English GCSEs, using proven strategies to boost confidence and achieve outstanding results. Over the years, I’ve consistently guided students toward high grades by tailoring lessons to individual needs and fostering a genuine understanding of the subject.

As a GCSE English tutor, I focus on creating a supportive and approachable learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. By getting to know each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style, I tailor lessons to build confidence and improve skills step by step. My friendly, relaxed approach helps take the pressure off, so students can enjoy learning while achieving the best results possible.

I teach part time in high school, so I am up to date with the latest changes to the English language curriculum, and all training and DBS qualifications are current. I also have over 4 years experience teaching GCSE and A level media studies, so I am available to assist students in this subject also.
