Hi,

I am a qualified teacher with 10+ years of experience, teaching primary school-aged children Maths, English, phonics (reading) and Writing. I have developed many teaching techniques over the 1o years and will always develop and implement a three-step strategy of concrete, pictorial and abstract representations to deepen understanding of a concept.

I use visual, creative, and engaging methods, whether written, through song, or in other ways, to achieve the same outcome. I have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum, subject knowledge and the exam system. I have a track record of stretching children beyond their perceived level and exceeding their potential. I will provide starter activities, main body of work, plenaries, and assessment materials/Maths fluency/Progressive and contemporary texts.
