I simplify scientific concepts into manageable and accessible steps, using differentiated resources matching student ability, past papers and other online tools and apps. Once the objectives of the lessons are clear and students can see the relevance of what they are learning, it stays with them as they can apply these to examination questions. The emphasis is to understand concepts and not just memorise them. They will see the improvements in a short time and can judge for themselves the impact of the lessons and whether they want to continue or not.
