My lessons are personalised, supportive, and designed to help each student reach their full potential. I have worked with students aged 4-16 across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, adapting my teaching style to suit different abilities, learning preferences, and goals. I now want to expand to A Level and undergraduate university students.

At the start of our lessons, I identify a student's strengths and any areas where they need additional support. I then create a tailored learning plan that focuses on building both confidence and subject knowledge. My lessons combine clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice, and independent questions to ensure students fully understand each topic before moving on.

I create my own resources, including worksheets, revision materials, and homework tasks, which are designed to reinforce learning between sessions. Regular review activities help track progress and ensure that students retain what they have learned. For older students, I also incorporate exam-style questions and revision techniques to help them prepare effectively for assessments.

As a tutor, I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that confidence is just as important as knowledge when it comes to academic success, so I focus on celebrating progress and helping students develop independent learning skills.

Alongside my tutoring experience, I hold a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry with Japanese and am currently undertaking a Masters in Clinical Immunology at the University of Manchester. My experience working with students and families has strengthened my communication, organisation, and mentoring skills.

I also provide regular updates to parents on their child's progress (KS2/3), highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and recommended next steps to support continued development.
