Hi, i am here to help you with maths. As a passionate maths teacher, I use the National Curriculum as a foundation to plan engaging, structured lessons that meet key learning objectives for children. I ensure pupils develop a strong understanding of number, shape, space, and measure by using practical resources, visual aids, and interactive activities. I focus on fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving, encouraging students to explore mathematical concepts in real-life contexts. By combining creativity with the curriculum's progression framework, I create a positive learning environment that builds confidence and lasting love for maths. I approach my students with patience, encouragement, and a belief that everyone can succeed. I create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, and I tailor my teaching to different learning styles using practical activities. I ask open-ended questions to develop reasoning skills and build confidence through praise and step-by-step guidance. I am a qualified teacher with a strong passion for education, particularly in mathematics. Currently, I am working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), where I support teaching and learning across various year groups. This role allows me to apply my teaching skills while continuing to build valuable classroom experience. I am dedicated to helping every child achieve their full potential and look forward to returning to a full teaching position where I can further inspire a love for learning, especially in maths.
