From Spain to the UK, I’ve spent more than 20 years helping people discover the confidence to speak Spanish.

My experience of teaching and living within both Spanish and British educational environments gives me a unique perspective on language learning. I understand Spanish not only as a language, but also as a living culture — while also understanding the challenges and expectations that UK learners can have when learning Spanish.

I hold a Master’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) and have worked with students of different ages, levels, and backgrounds, both in Spain and the UK. Over the years, I have taught Spanish for many different purposes, from everyday conversation and travel to work, education, and exams.

My lessons are personalised, practical, and engaging. I adapt each lesson to your level, interests, and objectives, combining conversation with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing where appropriate.

I particularly enjoy helping students move beyond simply knowing Spanish to actually using it with confidence. We can explore real-life situations, current topics, Spanish culture, and the kind of language you are likely to hear and use outside the classroom.
