I am a native European Portuguese speaker offering online Portuguese lessons for students who want to communicate with confidence and clarity. My lessons are designed to be practical, supportive and focused on real language use, rather than memorisation alone.

I have an academic background in Engineering, which has helped me develop a structured, logical and organised approach to teaching. Alongside this, I have experience working with children, which has strengthened my communication skills, patience and ability to adapt explanations to different learning styles and levels. These skills are equally valuable when teaching adults, beginners or learners who may feel unsure about speaking a new language.

My teaching approach focuses mainly on spoken Portuguese. I help students practise conversation in a natural way, using simple and useful vocabulary that can be applied in everyday situations. I also place importance on correct verb conjugation, explaining grammar clearly and gradually, always in context, so students understand how the language works and feel confident using it.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and level, whether they want to improve basic communication, gain confidence speaking Portuguese, or build a stronger foundation in the language. I create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

I believe progress comes from consistency, clear guidance and confidence. My aim is to help students enjoy learning Portuguese while developing practical skills they can use in real conversations.
