I love using immersive teaching techniques. While ensuring that we stick to the syllabus, I also want my students to feel like they have an element of control and that they can have fun and enjoy the session. I love using immersive teaching techniques. While ensuring that we stick to the syllabus, I also want my students to feel like they have an element of control and that they can have fun and enjoy the session. This means doing productive and interesting activities such as mood boards and brain dumps. It also of course means having open and honest conversations about the texts and analysing them in detail verbally since analysis is such a key part of learning and loving English literature. I want to nourish that same appreciation for language when tutoring.
