No need to panic, maths can be the best or the worst subject to students but that all depends on the tutor/ teacher methods of teaching and passing on information. I plan on making my students not just love the subject but also become the best mathematicians.

First of all getting to know my students is the most important thing. I will need to know your strengths and weaknesses so that we can work on them and overcome any barriers that we may face in future topics/lessons.

My favorite method for teaching students is trying to make them interact more and become more active and even sometimes putting them on the spot to build their confidence and overcome any fears.

One of my methods is after we are done with the lesson I will ask my student to teach me as if I was their student and for them to do so they will need to be fully capable of understanding the lesson. If there are any kind of hesitations we will work on the weaknesses and hopefully get the best possible outcomes.

For me to feel satisfied that my students fully understand the topic or lesson is to ensure that they can answer three types of questions based on the topic: easy, medium and hard. This is to make sure that we have covered all the important lessons within the topic and help them get the best marks in future exams.
