The word biology derived from the Greek words bios means life and logos means study. So the definition of biology is here " The study of living organisms , their origins, anatomy, morphology, physiology, behaviour and distribution."

Do you know, humans have above 100 trillion cells in their body. All the living organisms that exist in this whole universe like mushrooms, plants, humans, elephants, birds, whales and many more made up of lots and lots od cells. So cells are the basic and fundamental unit of life.

Do you know, in the year of 1665, Robert Hooke discovered the cell in cork.
