I am an eager and enthusiastic student who wants to help and teach other students who face difficulties in learning various subjects. I have always had a passion to help people and I have had experience by being a school councillor for my school in which I have raised suggestions of my peers. I have been working in Barnados Charity shop for over a year dealing with different customers face to face. I also coach junior cricketers and have learnt valuable teaching and problem solving and skills through my experiences. My commitment and enthusiasm to gain knowledge, shown by my volunteering has made me an excellent candidate for tutoring. As a team leader of my DofE Bronze expedition, my responsibilities included task delegation and addressing concerns in the decision-making process - vital skills for working and teaching students. I look forward to the challenges and rewards of further study, and aspire to become an excellent tutor. I am in my final year of IGCSE, year 11 at a prestigious grammar school. I have achieved nines in all my three sciences and an eight in maths in my mocks. Hence I am aiming for nines for my IGCSE’s and would like to teach maths and chemistry which are my strongest subject.
