I am a Mathematics graduate with several years of experience supporting and teaching students from primary level to GCSE and A-Level. I am also starting my Mathematics PGCE teacher training at Loughborough University.

My aim is to make mathematics simple, clear and enjoyable. I understand that some students find maths difficult or lose confidence, so I explain each topic step by step using easy language before moving to more challenging questions.

In my lessons, I first check the student’s current understanding and identify the areas where they need support. I then explain the topic clearly, demonstrate worked examples, and give the student opportunities to practise independently. I encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning, because understanding the method is more important than simply memorising an answer.

I can support students with KS2, KS3, GCSE Mathematics and A-Level Mathematics. I can also help with homework, exam preparation, revision, problem-solving and building confidence.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit the individual. My lessons are friendly, patient and well structured. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them understand mathematics and become confident independent learners.
