Hi there! I am Moeez, a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Warwick. Having recently navigated the UK education system myself, I know exactly the pressures students face and what it takes to excel. I achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics and Computer Science, alongside Grades 8 and 9 across all my STEM GCSEs. I also successfully completed the highly competitive Imperial College mA*ths Enrichment Programme, giving me a rigorous foundation in advanced mathematical concepts and problem-solving logic.

In terms of experience, I previously worked at EME Tuition, where I managed a dedicated cohort of secondary school students. My approach to tutoring is entirely diagnostic and student-centered. I don't believe in just talking at a student or making them memorize textbooks. Instead, my lessons are dynamic, energetic, and highly interactive.

So, what does a typical lesson look like? We usually begin with a brief diagnostic recap of previous topics to ensure foundational knowledge is truly secure. Next, we dive into the core concept of the day. Because of my engineering and programming background—including building a custom computational physics engine from scratch—I specialize in breaking down complex, abstract theories into tangible, real-world examples. Once the concept clicks, we move into guided practice, working through problems together. Finally, we dedicate time strictly to exam technique. Knowing the maths or the code is only half the battle; knowing exactly how to extract maximum marks from the specific exam board's mark scheme is what secures top grades.

Beyond just teaching the syllabus, I aim to be a mentor. Because I recently sat these modern exams, I can share the exact revision strategies, time-management techniques, and university application advice that worked for me.
