Moduro Adeoye

I'm a BSc Economics student at Loughborough University with experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics.

My lessons are interactive rather than lecture-style. I use the Bitpaper platform, which lets us work through problems together on a shared digital whiteboard in real time. I typically start each lesson by covering the key content, working through a few examples and using explainer videos where helpful, before moving into practice questions. These gradually increase in difficulty until the student is ready to tackle exam-style questions. Throughout, I oversee the student's own working, stepping in when needed to correct method or reasoning rather than just giving the answer, so they build the skill of getting there themselves. I also flag common mistakes as they arise, so students learn to recognise and avoid them independently in future.

I focus on building genuine understanding rather than just memorising formulas, breaking topics down into clear, manageable steps and adapting my approach to how each student learns best. I've helped students build confidence in subjects they previously found daunting, and I'm just as comfortable supporting exam technique for GCSE as I am working through harder A-Level content.

My own experience as a current university student, and having achieved an A* and A in A-Level Maths and Physics respectively, means I understand the pressure of exams and coursework firsthand, and I bring that perspective into every lesson.
