My lessons are structured but flexible, designed to meet each student exactly where they are and move them forward with confidence. I typically start by quickly identifying problem areas, then build lessons around those gaps so we’re not wasting time on what the student already understands.

Each session follows a clear rhythm: a short recap of key theory, guided examples where I break problems down step-by-step, then hands-on practice where the student applies what they’ve learned with my support. I don’t just give answers, I show the thinking behind every step so the student can repeat it on their own during exams.

In terms of content, I cover core Accounting topics such as financial statements, trial balances, adjustments, reconciliation, ratios, and exam technique for both high school and first-year university level. I also bring in past-paper style questions to build speed, accuracy, and confidence under pressure. Additionally I provide support for assignment and projects

My lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based. I ask questions throughout, encourage the student to think out loud, and correct misunderstandings immediately before they become habits. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the student,some need more structure, others need more practice, and I adjust accordingly.

With 3 years of tutoring experience, including helping classmates throughout high school, I’ve learned how to explain Accounting in a way that actually makes sense, simple, practical, and focused on real understanding, not memorisation.

My goal is to ensure every student leaves each lesson clearer, more confident, and fully prepared to improve their marks consistently.
