Misha Churakov

About myself:
Currently I am a sixth form student of a maths school, who’s really passionate about all aspects of maths. I finished my maths GCSE with grade 9, also doing Further Maths in which I received an 8. I participated in some serious maths competitions, including SMC in which I got a silver certificate. In addition I already have quite some experience in tutoring primary school students, so I can handle teaching children within any age group. Overall my mathematical problem-solving skills and knowledge are on a very solid level and I am ready to share all I know in a maths field with my students.

Teaching style:
I am ready to give private lessons online and in-person (up to your preference) to the students ranging from primary school to GCSE level maths. My schedule is quite flexible during holidays and weekends, however on working week days I can only do lessons in the evening past 6 pm. I can adapt my teaching up to your preferences, however my personal recommendation is going through exam past papers to develop those necessary exam problem-solving skills and get ready for the type of questions you can get in actual exam. I can also prepare your child for activities outside of school, such as maths olympiads, as I have experience in those, as I mentioned earlier. Tutoring is something I am really passionate about and I am really excited to pass on all the maths knowledge I have, and share it with my students.
