I've been a graphic design teacher since 2017 and and English tracher since 2010. During the pandemic I was able to continue with design and drawing classes through online platforms so I know you can learn, practice and become a better illustrator with online tutoring. We start the class by checking basic theory like volume, light, texture, perspective and composition. We see this while also seeing examples of what works, what doesnt, and then we move on to our drawing practice. We can have the drawing class while drawing either by hand or with the help of digital pen and tablet. The class goes from practicing realistic drawing at first and we finish the course exploring abstraction and simplification for publishing and animation purposes.
