I am a dedicated private tutor with over three years of experience teaching Mathematics and Science (chemistry and physics) to secondary school students. Throughout my tutoring journey, I have helped students strengthen their understanding of key concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and build the confidence needed to succeed in their studies.
My teaching approach is student-centred, as I believe every learner has unique strengths and learning styles. I carefully assess each student's needs and adapt my lessons to suit their pace and level of understanding. I break down complex mathematical and scientific concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations using real-life examples, interactive discussions, and step-by-step methods.
In addition to regular lessons, I provide support with homework, assignments, revision planning, and exam preparation. I encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and develop independent learning habits that will benefit them beyond the classroom. My goal is not only to help students achieve higher grades but also to inspire a genuine interest in Mathematics and Science.
Over the past three years, I have worked with students of varying abilities, from those needing extra academic support to those aiming for top examination results. I take pride in creating a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. Seeing my students grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals is the most rewarding part of being a tutor, and I remain committed to helping every student reach their full potential.
