Hello! I’m a dedicated and patient tutor with practical teaching experience working with children and young learners across different age groups. I have experience teaching Mathematics, English, Computer Studies, and Geography, and I enjoy helping students understand concepts clearly and develop confidence in their abilities.
My lessons are student-centred, interactive, and adapted to each learner’s individual needs. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take time to identify areas where a learner may be struggling before planning lessons that suit their pace and learning style.
During my lessons, I explain topics in a simple and structured way, using relatable examples, questions, discussions, exercises, and practical activities where appropriate. I encourage students to participate actively rather than simply listen, because I believe students learn more effectively when they are comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas.
I have experience teaching children between the ages of 8 and 16, which has helped me develop patience, effective communication, classroom management, and the ability to make lessons engaging for different age groups. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and improving without feeling pressured.
For online lessons, I can provide a well organised learning experience with clear explanations, guided practice, independent exercises, and feedback. I can also help students review topics they have already learned, prepare for assessments, complete challenging exercises, and strengthen areas where they need additional support.
My goal is not simply to help students get the correct answer, but to help them understand why the answer is correct and develop skills they can use independently.
