Orla Pike

Hi! I'm Orla and I achieved a 9 in English Language at GCSE and an A in A-level English Language. I have previously tutored years 7-11, assisting their reading and writing skills at all levels, and provide a welcoming and judgement free environment to ensure that everyone feels supported. I will improve your writing skills according to the Edexcel exam board, tailoring your next steps on how to improve. We will discuss your worries and struggles and create a personal learning experience catered to your pace, ensuring you aren't being overloaded with information. I specialise in essay writing skills as I know how tricky it is to adjust your writing to what the exam board expects from you. We will also look at a wide variety of texts to aid comprehension skills that will be very useful in future exams, breaking down what a piece of text is telling you and making further inferences from the information given.
