My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs. Before each session, students are encouraged to let me know which topics or areas they are finding difficult so that our time together can be focused on the concepts they genuinely need help with. This ensures that sessions are efficient, targeted, and provide the greatest benefit to the student.

Prior to each lesson, I prepare personalised learning materials based on the topics requested. These may include informative slides, diagrams, and visual explanations that help break down complex concepts into a more understandable format. Sessions also incorporate practice questions, allowing students to test their understanding, identify any remaining gaps in knowledge, and build confidence in applying what they have learned.

My goal is not only to improve subject knowledge but also to help students become more confident and independent learners. I believe students should spend their time and money focusing on the areas that will have the greatest impact on their progress, rather than revisiting content they already understand. I also understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and teaching methods to suit each individual's learning style and pace. This helps ensure that lessons remain engaging, effective, and tailored to the student's needs.

I aim to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment that feels approachable rather than overly formal. While I do not have professional teaching experience, I have always enjoyed explaining scientific concepts to others and have spent many years helping younger family members with their studies. This has helped me develop clear communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students in their learning.
